Synqly Welcomes Cybersecurity Veteran James Young as Strategic Advisor

James brings over 25 years of cybersecurity expertise to Synqly, with extensive experience in technical field sales, product management, and architectural open ecosystem approaches.
Today’s cybersecurity landscape is complex, with more than 9,500 vendors in the market offering over 20,000 security and IT Ops products. With increased product and engineering teams at security vendors, they increasingly require additional resources to integrate and operationalize security products. Synqly’s Integration Platform as a Service (IPaaS) stands out in this challenge with its unique and standardized approach to integrations across a broad ecosystem of technologies. This approach enables faster time to value and improved security outcomes, distinguishing Synqly in the market.
“Integrations are critical to cybersecurity, but the complexity has grown tremendously,” says James. “Synqly’s standardized approach across a broad ecosystem of technologies is truly unique and addresses a long-ignored problem in our industry. By removing complexity and enabling customers to be operational as soon as possible, Synqly is helping end-users and vendors become more effective and strategic, while also enabling them to choose best of bread solutions.”
James is an experienced cybersecurity professional with nearly three decades of career. He has held leadership roles at major cybersecurity companies, including his current position at Splunk, where he focuses on ecosystem approaches and streamlining customers’ time to value. James’ experience spans multiple roles across a range of industry vendors as well as experience as an enterprise security architect working for several different types of end-user organizations, giving him an invaluable perspective on integration challenges.
